We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to reply to you, we never sell it, and you can ask us to change or delete it at any time.

1. Who we are

KainoLab ("we", "us") is a digital product studio. We operate kainolab.com and are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@kainolab.com.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and run the site:

  • Enquiries: the details you enter in our contact form, such as your name, email address, company, what you need and your message.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, to keep the site secure and working.
  • Messages you send us directly by email.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or analytics tools. If we add them, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

3. How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls or projects.
  • To send you the newsletter or updates you asked for, which you can stop at any time.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent spam and fix problems.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in running our business and replying to people who contact us, on your consent (for example, the newsletter), and on taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, under appropriate safeguards:

  • Hosting and delivery of the website (Vercel).
  • Email delivery and contact management, so we can reply to you and keep your enquiry (Brevo).
  • Cal.com, if you book a call through our calendar. Cal.com collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and correspondence only as long as needed for the conversation, any resulting project, and our legal and accounting duties. After that we delete or anonymise them. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@kainolab.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies

This site currently sets no non-essential cookies. The browser may store small technical files needed for the site to work, such as your reduced-motion preference.

10. Children's privacy

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
