Backend and admin tools are underway
A lost-pet network: QR tags for pets, a public scan page for finders, and a community feed that helps neighbours bring pets home faster.
The problem
When a pet goes missing, every minute counts, but finders have no easy way to reach the owner. Collar tags get unreadable, microchips need a vet, and social posts get buried. Owners are left guessing while strangers do not know who to call.
What we built
We are building Paws on Watch as one connected system: a QR tag on every pet, a public scan page that lets any finder notify the owner instantly without installing anything, a mobile app for owners and a community feed for the neighbourhood. A secure admin dashboard handles moderation, tag batches and found reports behind the scenes.
What it does
QR pet tags
Each tag links to the pet, so a finder can reach the owner in seconds.
Public scan page
No account or app needed. A finder scans, shares a sighting and the owner is alerted.
Community feed
Neighbours post and follow lost and found pets in their area.
Owner app
Manage pets, mark one lost and receive found reports on iOS and Android.
Safety and moderation
Reported posts are reviewed by staff, and every support action is audited.
Notifications
Push and email alerts the moment a tag is scanned or a pet is found.
We are building it one careful module at a time. More soon.
